Before TME

TM Engineering "savoir faire" results from a long career in the music industry. Thierry Migeotte, General Manager at TM Engineering, worked for over 20 years as a recording, mixing and mastering engineer in various studios in the United States. He worked with artists such as Jill Scott, Stevie Wonder, Patti Labelle, Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett, Shanice Wilson, Wayman Tisdale, Eric Benet, Mala Rodriguez, Roberta Flack, Wynonna Judd and more. Three albums he worked on where nominated for Grammys. One was nominated in Mexico in 2008 with Jay-P, one in the United States with Stevie Wonder in 2010 and one in Spain in 2013 with Mala Rodriguez who won best Hip Hop album of the year. Thierry Migeotte also mixed and mastered "Yes We Can" and "Change is Now" featuring various internationally established artists and Barack Obama's campaign speeches in 2009. 

In 2012, Thierry Migeotte taught sound engineering and acoustics for 2 years in the master's program of a French university. He has also been a guest speaker in many conferences related to acoustics and audio formats worldwide.

In 2013, Thierry met Wilfried Van Baelen at Galaxy Studios. A few month later, he Mixed "Jill Scott In Paris" in Auro 3D, then "Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga "Life In Brussels" and  "Cavalia / Odysseo" at Galaxy Studios. He has become an expert in Auro 3D mixing. His relationship with Auro is just beginning as many more albums are expected to be mixed in Auro 3D format within the next few years.


In 2015, Galaxy Studios, which holds many world records in the acoustic field, and TM Engineering joined to create an acoustics department within the Galaxy Studios Group (Galaxy Studios Acoustics). Strong of a lifetime  experience and knowledge in sound engineering and Acoustics, both companies are expected to set new standards worldwide in the field of acoustics.
